Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
I have a 5-year plan to read my way through all the works of Shakespeare, both reading and when possible watching good productions.
This is the 1st on my list, one of his tragedies.
“What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.”
What's in a name? that which we call Shakespeare
By any other name, would remain great.
An easy one to start and a good introduction to the works of the Bard.
Is this a tale of love, or a tale of controlling ones passions that lead to impetus decisions with dire outcomes?
